Food Tasting
I was at SM Supermarket last Thursday accompanying my relatives to buy groceries. While we were strolling around, we heard this lady calling around for a free taste of the food she prepared. She was promoting Star Margarine product and used it as one of the ingredients of her cooking. So, we lined up to try her cooking. It was fried rice with bacon. Instead of using oil for frying the rice, you can use margarine to make the rice tastier as well as more pleasing to look at. The food she prepared is good for breakfast.
The food was yummy. Even though it wasn’t that much because it was only about 3 tablespoons but it has somehow closed our appetite for snacks and so we have save much that day. I asked the lady if I could take a photo of her and she said yes. But after I took one, the security guard approached me and reminded me that I’m not allowed to take photos inside the mall. Oh! I forgot.
Feedback Helps
A year ago, I bought a spaghetti meal at Kentucky Fried Chicken here in our city. I had a take home order and was excited to try it at home. When I arrived home I was so disappointed because my spaghetti wasn’t palatable anymore. It smells different. My husband just told me to throw it away, since we can’t do anything about it. I told him that I should make a call informing KFC that their spaghetti wasn’t that good anymore. I wasn’t angry at that time, but I was a bit concern to the other people who also bought the spaghetti from that store. So, I called their store informing them about the spaghetti. I wasn’t finished talking to them yet but they already told me that they will just have to replace it. I said, never mind. I just wanted you to know that your spaghetti doesn’t smell good. But they insisted to ask my phone number and my address because they want to replace the spaghetti. After a few minutes, the delivery boy comes and immediately gave me big plastic bag. I was wondering why a big plastic bag, where I only ordered for one spaghetti. As I open the plastic bag, they gave me 2 packs of spaghetti and 2 packs of fried chicken. Wow!!! Giving feedback really helps.
By the way, the spaghetti and the fried chicken we’re newly cooked so it was so yummy!
Eating at Greenwich Pizza (Part 2)
Every Tuesday, we usually have our church mentoring group meeting. Since, our group member didn’t arrived yet hubby and I decided to eat dinner first so that we will have no problem of preparing food at home. So again, we went to Greenwich Pizza (Ororama Branch). We ordered our favorite food there – fried chicken and spaghetti. Again, we WAITED. It took us about 30 minutes to wait for our order. But it’s okay because we were not that hungry then. We opt for a take home order because their place is so crowded and we prefer to eat inside the car. One of their staff gave us our order and after that we went outside.
While inside the car, I noticed that there was no soft drink in our order. But I just didn’t mind because I thought my husband chose not to have soft drinks. But he asked, where’s our soft drink? Oh, I didn’t saw any soft drink given to you. So, we drove again to their store and asked one of their staff. Oh my? He forgot to give our soft drinks to us.
