Yummy Sunday #3: Lumpia
Thank God it’s Sunday once again and I am so happy because it’s one of the Yummiest day of the week. My entry for this week’s Yummy Sunday is the food “LUMPIA”.
“Lumpia” is a Filipino food but the place of origin for this food is the country China. In other countries, this is similar to what they call as “spring rolls”. The Lumpia can be served as a main course or as a snack. In every Filipino gathering, we never miss to prepare this food as this is very easy to prepare. It’s main ingredients are Crepe, meat and vegetables. There many varieties of Lumpia and one of these is the “Lumpiang Shanghai” which you can see fromthe photo above. This lumpia is served with a sweet and sour sauce. Other varieties of Lumpia includes, the “Fresh Lumpia”, “banana lumpia”,”vegetable lumpia” and many more.

Thankful for Lalaine!
Lalaine (Ate Love) is my aunt but our relationship goes beyond that. She’s a mentor, a teacher and a best friend to me. She has touched my life in so many ways even before we were not that close.
I consider her as my mentor in my spiritual life. She’s been always there reminding me to pray and she never fails to pray for me too. She’s also my blog mentor. (LOL!) It’s through her that I learned about writing posts and make money out of it.
I also consider her as my teacher in life. She doesn’t teach me by telling me to do this and do that, but she teaches everyone around her by example; how she lived her life. Her life touches me as well as other people. She’s also very patient, kind and generous too.
I consider my Ate Love as my best friend. I can share to her anything I want to share. She is my online buddy. Every night we spend time to be updated with what is happening in our lives and our family. Although we don’t see each other often, because she lives in the other side of the world but I can always feel her truthfulness and sincerity in every conversation we have.
To Lalaine (Ate Love):
I thank God for you and your family. You are a blessing to me. Thank you for your unselfish heart. Thank you for being such a good mentor and a wonderful teacher. Most of all, thank you for being one of my best friends.
God bless you and praying God’s promises will be with you forever!
