Preparing for New Year's Eve

I used to be busy whenever we have special occasions and celebrations at home. It is because I am the one who’s in charge in the kitchen. But this time, I chose not to cook because I wanted to enjoy our New Year’s Eve Celebration. I wanted to have enough strength and energy because oftentimes I will not anymore enjoy the celebration because all of my strength were already consumed in all the preparation. I’m just so thankful that today we only have to prepare simple foods for dinner. My mother in-law will prepare “Sotanghon” while hubby will be baking “Tuna Panga”. All other foods are to be bought outside. My task for today is to clean and beautify the house. Well, it isn’t that hard to do… I guess I will have to start now so that everything will be prepared on time.

Advance Happy New Year!

Yummy Sunday 22: A Christmas Cake

Hello everyone! It’s Yummy Sunday once again. How was your Christmas celebration? Did you had a great time with your family and friends? I hope you had a great time as I had with my family. We enjoyed our Noche Buena together and this mocha cake was one of our desserts. It was my sister in-law who bought this cake from Goldilocks.

What about you? Can you share what you had last Christmas?

P.S. I’ll be making a separate for featured blogger this week. I will post it on Monday. God bless!

The Spirit of Christmas

What is the true Spirit of Christmas? Is it having fun? Is it having many many gifts?

The true Spirit of Christmas is all about Worship. Everyone who came to see the baby Jesus born in a manger, the shepherds, the 3 wise men, and all the angels came to worship Him. The true Spirit of Christmas is a celebration of the birth of our Savior.

As we celebrate Christmas, may we spend time to truly worship ourSavior and thank Him for what He has done in our lives.
