Yummy Sunday 25: Baby Back Ribs
Last Friday, we had our Teacher’s Day Out activity. We didn’t hold classes as all of us (teachers and staff) went out and spend the day to bond and strengthen relationships. Not just that, it was an activity where we spent time in order for us to hear from the Lord about His plans and instructions for us in the year 2010. The highlight of our activity was the yummy snacks at SENTRO 1850 (Velez St., Cagayan de Oro City). As they say, you can know the person better through eating together. One of our co-teachers can’t decide on what to order and we ordered a baby back ribs meal for her. Actually, they named this meal as BRIC A BRACK baby back ribs (I’m not so sure if I spelled it correctly). When her order was placed on the table, our eyes were all glued to her meal. Good thing she shared this meal to all of us and all of us got only one thing to say… YUMMY!
I’ll be sharing what I’ve ordered next Sunday.
So watch out for it. Anyway, our featured Yummy Sunday participant for this week is Lalaine of Lalaine’s World. Last week, she posted this yummy food from Zizzlers. Go check out her blog today and find out what she posted this week.
Happy Yummy Sunday everyone!

Yummy Sunday 24: Filipino Biko
A Traditional Filipino Biko is prepared with malagkit (glutinous) rice, coconut milk, sugar, and topped with “latik”. But this “Biko” on the photo has no latik on top as this is just the ordinary way of preparing it. Some preferred this kind of preparation, others loved the one that has latik on top. Anyway, “Biko” is a sticky rice cake and is usually served during birthday parties, fiestas and other special events. This is best when you paired it with a hot soothing coffee. This “Biko” was cooked by one of the parents in our school. This really tastes good… I love it!
Our featured Yummy Sunday participant for this week is Sarah of “My Family Daily Adventure” She shared this yummy cake last Sunday. Go check out her site and find out her YS post for today.

Back to School Tomorrow
My Christmas break is over. I’m excited to see my students tomorrow as I haven’t seen them for more than two weeks. I have just finished preparing all my stuff for school and hope to have a fun and enjoyable class tomorrow. Now I will sleep early because my sleep schedule has been out of track lately. LOL! Hope I can wake up early by tomorrow.
