Doll Bread

I’ve prepared this food as snacks for the kids during our VBS program two years ago.  While they receive a piece of this bread, the kids showed big smiles on thier faces. This is one good way of making your kid’s snack a lot different. You can try this one too!

Yummy Sunday 23: New Year Celebration

Happy New Year everyone! How was your New Year’s Celebration? Hope you all had fun. Ours was indeed fun because a lot of kids came to celebrate with us. We had children’s games all night and had fireworks too. As for our food, we prepared all kinds of dish that is made of dish because my mother in-law is taking control of her high blood pressure. But a Filipino New Year celebration is not fun without Lechon, so we ordered one from a friend. We also had cake for dessert. Below are the photos of some of the foods we had last New Year’s Eve.

Fried Tilapia (this one is prepared by my mother-in law)

Fruity Fish

Baked Tuna Panga

Lechon

By the way, I haven’t posted the featured Yummy Sunday participant as I was so busy with a lot of things last week. My apologies…

Anyway, our featured Yummy Participant for this week is Kero of Kero’s Celebration. She posted this cute cake last week. Visit her blog today!

Mom's Corner

Our family scheduled a photo opp today and after the said activity, we end up hungry and decided to eat at Mom’s Corner. It’s a little restaurant here in our city. I think this restaurant has been working for many years now and their foods are quiet good. Aside from that it is also affordable.

I have been to this place many times already. My favorite here is their bacon and cheese burger. Other burgers taste yummy too. Today my niece tried their spaghetti and she find it very delicious.

Mom’s Corner is also known for their yummy “Fresh Lumpia”. So if ever you happened to visit Cagayan de Oro, you can visit this place. It’s located at Pabayo-Chaves St., near Xavier University.
