We have a new housemaid at home. She’s been here already for a week now. I am thankful to God for giving us another housemaid and hoping she can be trusted.

I’m happy now that there’s someone who can help us here at home but I’m having a difficulty right now how to explain things to her. She’s a “native” girl, with a different dialect and she can only understand a little bit of the local dialect. When I give instructions to her, I am having a hard time thinking on what’s the right word to use. Yesterday, I told her something about cleaning the house and she keeps on nodding her head but I am not sure if she understands my instruction. Anyway, I will just have to make it really slow when I speak to her. In that way, she might understand me a bit.

Last month, I was in the hospital for 6 days because of my asthma. I am thankful to God for the healing and for the provision in paying off the hospital bills.

After my confinement in the hospital I received a notification from a company that I won Php 50,000 worth of Gift Certificates.  I was truly surprised with how God has blessed me. Truly He moves and provides in an unexpected ways.

Thank you Lord that you are a God who enjoys giving gifts to us even if we don’t deserve it.
