I joined a two day retreat last Tuesday. I was great opportunity to rest physically and to be refreshed spiritually. The retreat was great because the goal is to allow everyone to have more time for God. It was my first time to join that kind of retreat and I find it unique because we have more of “On Your Own Time”, a time where we read and reflect the word of God for 4 hours and seek his will. Not only that, the retreat venue is awesome. It’s located at the beach and every time we had our reflection time I choose to stay on a bamboo cottage and seat on a comfortable rustic furniture. In the afternoon, I spend my reflection time on the swing reflecting on God’s goodness while looking at the beautiful site of the beach.

My two day retreat was truly worth it. To God be the glory!

We had our church anniversary yesterday and I went home very, very tired. My body was aching and all I did was to lie down until I slept. I felt like I was having fever because of my colds. I was hoping not to go to school but I don’t have a choice but to be in school or else my students will be dismayed.

I had a good night sleep and I opened my eyes to check on the time and it was still 4:00 AM. I went back to sleep and planned to get up at 6:00 AM. After a while I noticed that I have been sleeping for a long time and I was so shocked when I checked on the time… It was already 7:30AM. My class starts at 7:30 AM and gosh, I am still at home.

I hurried and rode a taxi  to school and arrived at 8:00 AM. Good thing my co-teacher was there already and was sharing stories to kids.

This is one yummy seafood dish from a Japanese restaurant here in our city. It looks delicious on the photo but its more delicious when you got to try it.  Have a Happy Yummy Sunday!
