Hello everyone! I’m sorry about last Sunday because of some problems about my webhost provider. The server was down for the last 24 hours and I wasn’t able to access this blog last week. Good thing, this site is now transferred to a new webhost provider and I find it very stable compared to the old one. Thanks to Mommy Ruby of Mom’s Hosting.

Last week, the parents of my student gave me “Sotanghon”. These parents has a food business and whenever they cook something new, they allowed me to have a taste of it. I am so thankful for generous parents like them… Talking about the Sotanghon, it was indeed delicious!

Do you like strawberry? I like this fruit too. Only that I can seldom find this in the market. I like the sweet and sour taste of this fruit that it can make a different expression on my face. The Strawberry is said to be the most nutritious fruit and it provides great benefits on our skin. Some women use this fruit as their facial mask because it gently refresh and exfoliate the skin. According to studies, this fruit is highly rated as skin cleansing food that helps prevent acne, rashes, eczema and other skin diseases. It also provides great benefits on removing harmful toxins in the blood.

Nutrition Month 2010

Every school here in the Philippines celebrates Nutrition Month in the month of July. I find this activity very helpful to little children because it gives them the opportunity to be reminded to eat the right kinds of food. When I was still in high school, I couldn’t forget our cooking contest were all the participants are required to cook a nutritious meal. My classmate was our representative and we were very happy that she won. Her recipe was “Pineapple Chicken with Milk”. After the contest, we all ate the dish she prepared.

Anyway, we also had our Nutrition Month celebration in our school last July 31, 2010. It was a short program for our pre-school kids and we all had fun witnessing their talents in dancing. The kids were also very happy because we had so much fun in the games like the Bring-Me game and the funniest banana eating contest.

It was truly a fun activity for all of us.

Before we went to church this morning, I bought this crispy-licious and juicy-licious chicken from Jollibee. I was hungry so I thought of eating a yummy breakfast. After church, hubby also wanted to eat this so he bought another for our lunch. Hmmmm… so yummy! Want to try?

This is a Shanghai Rolls we ordered from Dynasty Court Hotel. Their “Lumpia” is indeed very yummy, you got to try it whenever you happen to visit here in Cagayan de Oro City.
