Acne and Apple Cider Vinegar

A week ago, my husband bought an apple cider vinegar at the mall. He used it to help treat his sinusitis and other physical discomforts. He uses 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and mix it with water and drink it. He religiously does this every morning.

He told me to also drink apple cider vinegar but I refused because I’m afraid it can trigger hyper-acidity. But when I found out that apple cider vinegar can help treat acne, I was also serious in drinking it.

While reading information online, apple cider vinegar can work as a skin detox agent in our body. It has cleansing properties and purifying agent that will surely works wonders on the skin. Some of the acne products in the market like acnetox have apple cider vinegar as one of their ingredients.

I am currently drinking apple cider vinegar for two weeks now and I am hoping for positive results in the coming months. Hope it will work on me.

Benefits of Coconut Oil

When I was still a little girl, my grandmother would use coconut oil to condition my hair. She told me that it is good for my hair as well as for my scalp. Every week she never fails to massage my hair with coconut oil and my grandmother lovingly to that to me.

The use of coconut oil is now very popular in the market. Businessmen sold it on shops through its popular name – the virgin coconut oil. It is still the same coconut oil I used when I was a little girl, only that it is now more refined in its texture. With the help of the latest technology, coconut oil has been found not only effective for hair care but also in other aspects of the body.

The coconut oil has been found effective for eczema treatment, maintaining cholesterol, weight loss, relief from kidney and many others. Added to that, it has been the choice of many athletes and dieters because it contains less cholesterol which is good for the body.

What Causes Pimples?

Getting rid of pimples is one of my problems these days. I have pimples on my face, my chest and my back. I don’t know what triggered it but I felt like it’s not getting any better these days.

I have read online that pimples are caused by oily skin. When you have oily skin it will cause your skin to clog and it can lead to pimples. You have to learn more about your skin and find out whether it is oily or dry. The main solution for oily skin is to wash the face more often. Use soaps that are not too harsh for the skin.

Another thing that causes pimples is touching the face too often. I am guilty of this because I have this habit of touching my face more often. Oftentimes, I am not conscious whether my hands are clean or not and  not knowing that this can cause irritation on my face.

Lastly, one should avoid eating junk foods and fast foods as these can lead to hormonal imbalance in the body. Pimples just keep on coming if you eat these kinds of foods. So before you sleep tonight, forget about eating chips, burgers, fries, chocolates, and more.

Uh oh! I hope I can do all of these to minimize pimples on my face.
