I really had difficulty remembering names especially when I am introduced to a lot of people. Maybe my mind couldn’t really grasp a number of names to be memorized in one setting. During college, if I can’t remember my classmate’s name I just call him or her “classmate” and then all is well. But the hardest thing is, when you met your classmate after college and would gladly talk to you as if you were that close. What would you do? Just like what happened to me a week ago. I met my classmate in college while I was waiting for my ride home. Actually we we’re not that close, I even forgot his name but our conversation lasted for about 30 minutes. We talked about life, career opportunities and etc… it was really fun talking with him given the fact that he was a gay and he’s really fun to be with. He’s very talkative… and I wanted to ask his name but I feel a bit awkward asking. I don’t want him to be offended that I forgot his name. At the back of my mind, I kept on thinking on some clues so I could remember his name… is it JR? John? I really can’t remember and I don’t have anymore idea what his name was. I was trying to open up stories where he could mention his name but it never happened. So I tried to ask his number and asked his name .. his name was Argie. Now I remember. He also asked my number and typed it on his cell phone. After that, I was surprised with his question.. he also asked my name. Lol! He too forgot my name…

Enjoying the Beach

We all had fun during my grandmother’s birthday celebration. The weather was so nice and the beach was just so awesome. My cousins and some relatives were there and we truly had a blast.

One of the things we enjoyed the most was riding on the ‘bottom-glass” boat. The glass part of the boat allowed us see the bottom part of the ocean. We were truly amazed upon seeing huge corals, fishes, start fishes, sea urchins and more. We also had the opportunity to feed the fishes and the experiences was just amazing. My grandmother wasn’t able to ride the bottom-glass boat because she was afraid of the waves.

My grandmother’s birthday celebration was truly a great day to enjoy, have fun and bond as a family. Can’t wait to have another fun day at the beach next year.

Going to the Beach

Today is my grandmother’s 81st birthday and we will be having a beach party. I took a leave from a 4 day seminar and decided to be there on my grandmother’s birthday because this only happens once in a lifetime. So today were heading to Medina, Misamis Oriental a 4 hour ride from Cagayan de Oro City. Hope it’s going to be a lot of fun. I will post the details tomorrow….

A Visit to Hong Kong Disneyland

My mother-in law will be traveling to HongKong tomorrow. She will be touring around Hong Kong Disneyland. I was so excited for her while she’s packing up her things today; it makes me wanna go with her too… (ha.ha.) Actually, I have never been to Hong Kong Disneyland and this is one of the places I’d like to visit. It is very easy to visit Hong Kong nowadays because there are now affordable air fares as well as affordable travel promos. So, as early as today I am now planning of saving money for this trip.

Wondering about the photo above? This photo was not taken at Hong Kong Disneyland (as it was pretty obvious). Two weeks ago, we had the opportunity to visit “Trinoma,” one of the biggest mall in Manila. While inside the mall, we saw their very cute castle decoration with a caption “Hong Kong Disneyland”. Without delay, hubby and I posed beside the castle and imagined that we were in Hong Kong Disneyland. Anyway, I am hoping to have a photo at the real HK Disneyland soon.
