A Visit to Hong Kong Disneyland

My mother-in law will be traveling to HongKong tomorrow. She will be touring around Hong Kong Disneyland. I was so excited for her while she’s packing up her things today; it makes me wanna go with her too… (ha.ha.) Actually, I have never been to Hong Kong Disneyland and this is one of the places I’d like to visit. It is very easy to visit Hong Kong nowadays because there are now affordable air fares as well as affordable travel promos. So, as early as today I am now planning of saving money for this trip.
Wondering about the photo above? This photo was not taken at Hong Kong Disneyland (as it was pretty obvious). Two weeks ago, we had the opportunity to visit “Trinoma,” one of the biggest mall in Manila. While inside the mall, we saw their very cute castle decoration with a caption “Hong Kong Disneyland”. Without delay, hubby and I posed beside the castle and imagined that we were in Hong Kong Disneyland. Anyway, I am hoping to have a photo at the real HK Disneyland soon.
Gifts From Malaysia
My cousin Love of “Lalaine’s World is here in the Philippines. She arrived last November 12 together with her husband and kids. Whenever she visits the Philippines, I am very excited because I always have “pasalubong” from her.
My first pasalubong (as seen on the photo above) is a curry powder and spices from Malaysia. I was curious about the spices (on the left side) because it looks very unique. These gifts are the ingredients for a chicken curry (Indian Style) dish. I am now excited to try this one. I’m sure my husband will love this because he loves spicy foods.
But not only that, she also gave me beauty products as my birthday gift. Wow! She is so thoughtful. My birthday is next week and this is my early birthday gift from her.
Thank you so much Ate Love for being so generous. God bless you always!
United Nations Day 2009
United Nations Day (UN Day) is observed annually worldwide on 24 October to commemorate the founding of the United Nations in October 1945. To celebrate UN Day 2009, our school (Little Evangel Christian School) planned to have a program wherein kids will be representing different countries of the world. I was tasked to prepare the entire flow of the program. Although we have done this activity many times already, I’m still having difficulty on what to with the program because I wanted to be unique and not the same with the UN Day last year.
The parents of our pupils are now excited with their kid’s costumes and their flags. Our UN Day is on October 24, 2009 (Saturday), 1:00 PM. Until now, I’m still thinking about my costume for this occasion. Anyway, I still have today to finalize everything…my costume, the program and etc.
