I had a great time bonding with Bisdak Bloggers today. I was able to meet the persons behind those great blogs I see online. We had our meeting at Peking House one of the restaurants here in Cagayan de Oro that offers “Eat-All-You Can” food. We met around 3PM so we availed of their snacks which only cost for only Php 120.00 per person.

There were many foods served and looking at them one by one made me really hungry. If you want to visit Peking House and you’re on a diet, better take an appetite suppressant so won’t indulge yourself in eating too much food. But since all of the bloggers who were there are not on a diet, we tried all the foods served on the table.

My high school friends planned a Girl’s night out and our meeting place was at Mama Maria’s Pizzeria (Cagayan de Oro). While going to the place, Sheryl texted and informed me to meet at Mama Mia’s Pizza and Monique also texted me that the girls were now waiting at Mang Matia’s Pizza. Oh boy! Which is which? I asked them about the address and they both told me that it’s near Xavier University.

I stopped at Xavier University fronting the museum and went straight along Hayes St. There I saw a big signage “Mama Maria’s Pizzeria”. At first glance, the place was just ordinary for me. It looks just a typical restaurant. I entered the door and there I saw my friends.

They told me that Mama Maria’s Pizzeria is known to be the Home of the Biggest Pizza but I didn’t bothered to check on their menu list as I was interested talking to my friends. Our family pizza was served and it was indeed big. I don’t know if there’s a bigger size next to it, but the one we had is just enough for all of us.

The taste of their pizza was nothing special. I’m a pizza lover and honestly I don’t find their pizza superb. The taste is good but I can’t say it’s yummy. One of the things I like is the atmosphere of their shop. The things were orderly and neat and the backgrounds on their walls were nice. In fact, we spend the night taking photos inside the shop with their European inspired wall backgrounds.

To sum it all, dining at Mama Maria’s Pizzeria was still a night to remember.

I have been to this place many times already. My favorite here is their bacon and cheese burger. Other burgers taste yummy too. Today my niece tried their spaghetti and she find it very delicious. 

Mom’s Corner is also known for their yummy “Fresh Lumpia”. So if ever you happened to visit Cagayan de Oro, you can visit this place. It’s located at Pabayo-Chaves St., near Xavier University.

An Egg Pie from Goldilocks is one of my favorites. This is what I always buy whenever I have the chance to drop by goldilocks. My hubby likes this too, he said it taste like Leche Flan… hmmm.. I guess so.

When we are about to go home, we happen to pass by P. Joes Diner. This place was memorable to me because this is where we ate after my graduation in college, that was a long time ago. My boyfriend who is my husband now, was so thoughtful enough to treat me in that restaurant even though he wasn’t still earning that much before. I took a glance at the place and asked my husband, “When are you going to bring me in that place again?” He answered jokingly… “After your next graduation..!” Well, I guess I have to enroll myself for a Master’s degree then.
