Staring at the Stars…

by admin August 12, 2010
written by admin

Most expert say that staring at a star is one of the best anti-stress activity you can do for yourself. If your life is spent on running from one appointment to the next you need to STOP even just for a moment. You need to relax and take a good look at the world around you. If you’re caught up with a busy schedule this week, try giving yourself a break. Grab a nice comfy mattress outside your house or seat on your rocking chair and start meditating on the mystery of a distant star. You’ll find out the good results it brings to your body.

One More Night…

I am excited about our first day of school tomorrow. Although I don’t have strength anymore because of our last minute classroom decorations, but I am still excited to see all my cute students tomorrow.

My class tomorrow will start at 7:30 AM… I hope I can wake up early as I am not anymore used to getting up early in the morning.

My Father’s Eyes

by admin June 11, 2010
written by admin

When it comes to celebrating Father’s Day I don’t find this day an exciting day for me, because I never had the opportunity to celebrate it with my biological Father.  Although most of relatives would tell me that I got my father’s talent in singing, sketching and the ability do a lot of things. He left us when we were still little kids and I only had few memories about him. Despite that, my heart is still grateful for this experience. I may have never experienced my father’s love and care but through this experience God has allowed me to feel His great LOVE being a Father to the fatherless. (“A Father to the fatherless… Psalm 68:5)

So today, I am very much thankful to my Heavenly Father. I am so thankful for my Father’s eyes, his eyes that find the good things in every situation. Even my life is not perfect, my family is not perfect, my biological father is not perfect but God saw the good things in my situation and I thank Him for allowing me to see the good side of things.

I am thankful for His eyes that is full of compassion. Thank you Lord for you know my pain, my struggles, my suffering. Thank you that you understand every tear that falls from my eyes.

Thank you Lord for being such a great FATHER to the fatherless!

Advance Happy Father’s Day everyone!
