Getting Old and Varicose Veins

While lying on the bed today I tilt my legs to give it a rest. I noticed that I  already had varicose veins. It isn’t as large like squiggles but they are just starting to develop. I guess it’s a sign that I am already getting old. However it is also a sign that I don’t exercise regularly.

Having varicose veins is not always a big deal. But unless you are fond of wearing shorts then it might become a problem. Happily, there are things we can do for now to avoid it. Doctors often recommend wearing compression socks which will provide a good flow of your blood in the veins of your legs. However, the most effective solution is to have a regular exercise. As you keep your body moving, your veins will become healthy. Also avoid standing or sitting for too long.
