admin While I’m on my way home early this afternoon, I happened to pass by a construction site. It was almost 5:00 PM and yet the workers were still busy cleaning up their mess. To make their work a lot easier and faster, they used echo blowers and other equipments in cleaning. At the back of my mind, I was wondering why they need to clean up when they still have to come back tomorrow and make a mess again. I asked my husband who is familiar with construction work. He told me that the cleaning is necessary. It is one of the standard operating procedure in a construction work and they call it “housekeeping time”. This is done to always ensure safety while at work. Of course, cleanliness and orderliness has to be observed too. Now I know!
