Starting from childhood, our parents forced us to eat vegetables even if we don’t like its taste. We have been told that we don’t easily get sick if we eat vegetables. Is that true?

According to health experts, eating vegetables is one of the healthiest habits you can have in your life. I never appreciate vegetables when I was young, but thanks to a friend who introduced different kinds of vegetable dishes and I began to love it. If you feel you couldn’t eat a single vegetable, think first. It’s a matter of mindset. Start eating in small amounts and if you are not yet ready mix the vegetables with some meat until you begin to take vegetables in your system.

So why are vegetables good for you?

Vegetables are known to have a lot of nutrition like proteins, fiber , iron and many others. It also has Vitamins C, K, A, B and minerals. If you are on a diet, it can be your good partner as it can never make you fat even it you eat unlimited amounts of it. Almost all vegetables are cholesterol free and fat free added with its fiber, you will surely have a successful diet plan because of it.

Vegetables are also full of anti-oxidants which helps the body boost its immunity. At the same time it helps look younger as it helps slows down the aging process and eliminates the free radicals in our body. Moreover, eating vegetables has been found out to help prevent cancer.

These are just a few of the many reasons why we should eat vegetables. But if you broaden your search you will surely find out that eating vegetables will surely provide great benefits for our body.
