admin I had the chance to visit one of the famous ostrich farm here in our city, the Philippine Ostrich Farm. I was with my students and we were kind of amazed when we saw a lot of ostriches in the farm. They were very huge.
One of my students said they looked like big chickens, while the others observed that they look like big birds. Another girl approached me and asked… “Can I sit on the back of the ostrich, just like the one I saw on TV? I smiled and said no. Maybe she was watching a cartoon movie.
Anyway, after viewing the ostriches we went to one area where eggs are being displayed. We were not allowed to carry the eggs but we can touch and feel it. The egg was very huge and it has a very thick shell.
